Torrington Savings Bank Selects Specialized Data Systems to Provide Hosted Loan Origination and Processing Solution

BRANFORD, CT, May 25, 2009 - Specialized Data Systems (SDS), a leading lending technology integrator, today announced that Torrington Savings Bank (Torrington) in Torrington, Connecticut has decided to implement its RemoteLender™ ON-DEMAND Loan Origination System. Once implementation is finalized, Torrington will have convenient Web-based access to a system that delivers the full flexibility and power of a client/server-based LOS.

Torrington was looking for a loan origination and processing system that could provide better functionality than the legacy origination system it had been using, but one that would not necessitate an increase in IT infrastructure or require a significant upfront investment. The bank also wanted a system that would offer real-time interfaces with third-party providers to boost process efficiency and encourage a more paperless environment. Since RemoteLender delivers on all of those fronts, it was the ideal solution to meet Torrington’s specific needs.
